FOOD WRITING
"Save yourself some sweat: How to cook without your stove or oven" — It gets mighty hot in Florida during the summer and, really, much of the year. It's even worse when your kitchen doesn't get A/C. I turned that personal struggle into a story full of tips for others on alternative cooking methods.
"Indian Cooking 101" — This intro to Indian cooking focuses on embracing whole spices — cardamom, ginger, cumin, coriander — for authentic flavors.
"How to eat Indian food (hint: it's with your hands)" — Spoons and forks are all well and good. But when Indian food is involved, using your hands is the (traditional) way to go. This story accompanied a short review of three new restaurants.
